I have tried quite a few video chat clients, MSN, Yahoo, AIM chat etc. By far the best for voice and video quality is Skype.

Now that you have Skype on your computer and that you have created your skype name and signed into skype it's time to add friends and start chatting.

It's very easy to search for people on Skype. In the top menu go in Contacts>Search for Skype Users

You can search for people by name, for example if you want to see if your friends and family are already on Skype or if you want to add random people(!) you can search by country, State, City, Language, Gender and Age Range.
