The chat rooms don't require any software to be installed on your computer and you will never be asked for your credit card because everything on the site is 100% free.

The choices include, Adult Chat room, Asian Chat Room, Charla en Español, Christian Chat rooms and Main chat Room. You can also see for each room how many users are currently inside the room.

You can use the Instant Messaging feature to contact any member that is currently online. Remember once you're inside a room you can choose to have a private conversation with anyone inside that rooms.



If you're still reading this and have not yet headed to Metrodate to create your profile you need to know that the registration process on the site will take you a few minutes. Indeed you need to go through eight steps before you become an active and registered Metrodate member. I suppose the reason why the registration process is long is because they only want members who are serious about joining the site as they are more likely to come back and stay active on the site.

Here are the steps you will need to go through to register yourself process and set up your profile. You might want to open the metrodate registration page in another window and go through the registration by following this guide.

Step one:
From the homepage enter a valid email address (it's mandatory but don't worry it will not be revealed to other members if you're still afraid to give your good email ID, create another email account and use it to register for metrodate this way you wont need to worry about giving out your good email address). Choose a password and press the Continue button.

Step two:
From the full 2nd registration page, enter your chosen ID or simply accept the one they came up with for you (not a good idea, it could be something like SingleLadyInLasVegas36 and you don't want that I hope...). Entering your first name and last name is optional. Enter your location, country, zip code or postal code then press the Continue button.

Step three:
You are asked for feedback on how you found out about the site choose all the options that apply and press the Continue button.

Step four:
You are asked about your gender, sexual orientation, birth date, education, height, body type, eye and hair color etc.. basic online dating information. Hint: it's a good idea to enter your actual info since you are not forced to give out your real name it's good for others who contact you to have an idea of what you look like even if they don't see you on cam or in a pic.

Step five:
You need to provide information about the people you'd like to meet on the site. Check and uncheck anything you like or dislike.

Step six:
You can write a short intro message. Like "Single asian chick ready to mingle!" or more simply "Laid back guy for c2c with girls only!" or even more simply "Just looking around", you get the idea. Then you can enter other additional information about yourself. Like languages you speak, turn-offs, favorites (restaurants, movies, hangouts,books,TV shows, pets etc...) You don't have to fill out all this just the ones that you think really matter.

Step seven:
Add your photos. You can either upload one from your computer. Send one in an email or from your cell phone or even from postal mail, it's your choice. Or, you can click continue without adding a photo! The site allows Adult content in photos, no need to censor yourself as long as what you're showing is legal.

Step eight:
Add metrodate to your address book to ensure that you will not miss any email alerts they might send you. Of course you don't have to do this now. Simply click Continue.

Congratulations! You're in and ready to chat like crazy or like there's no tomorrow. You will be shown your account page with the number of messages and notifications that you've received. Indeed, if matches are found in your area (city) you will see the number in the upper right side of your screen under "Notifications". If you're in the mood to find an online date, click on that link and browse all your matches see if anyone catches you attention.

I had 82 matches can you believe this? Now you understand why you need to enter correct information? If you did not enter your zip or postal code correctly those matches will simply not be located near you.

If you simply want to chat, click on the Chat link in the top section of any page on the site and then choose your desired room.

One important detail you need to know is that if you want to enter the chat rooms you MUST have at least one photo. I know this because I tried to enter the chat rooms and was told I need to add a photo to my profile which I finally did. By the way my metrodate ID is girl123. You can search for my profile with my username once you're registered. How about sending me a message while you're at it?
